TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Treasure Hunt Game

Effective Date: June 1 2026

A. Eligibility

The Treasure Hunt Game is open to individuals 18 years or older.

Participants under 18 must have parental or legal guardian consent.

Participants must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.

B. Entry Fee

Participation requires a non-refundable entry fee of $9.99 per edition.

The entry fee grants access to:

  • 25 total clues

  • Distributed as 5 clues per day over 5 consecutive days

  • For the specific town or city edition purchased

All sales are final.

C. Game Structure

Each edition includes:

  • 25 clues delivered electronically

  • Participants must interpret clues independently

The treasure is not buried and does not require excavation.

The game duration is:

  • Up to one (1) year from the official launch date

  • Or until the treasure is successfully claimed

  • Whichever occurs first

  • Maximum of 5 submissions per person per town.

D. Rules of Conduct

Participants agree:

  • Not to dig or disturb land

  • Not to damage property

  • Not to trespass on private property

  • Not to interfere with public landmarks

  • To respect historical and environmental locations

  • To comply with all posted signage and laws

Violation of these rules results in immediate disqualification.

E. Claiming the Prize

To claim the prize, participants must:

1. Email michael@thetreasurehuntgame.com

2. Submit a real-time physical photograph of the treasure location and selfie with that location

3. Answer the verification question

4. Include full name and contact information

The first verified correct submission wins.

Time of email receipt determines order.

All determinations are final.

F. The Prize

Each edition offers:

  • Five (5) one-ounce pure silver coins

  • Approximate retail value: $500 (subject to market value fluctuations)

  • One (1) winner only

Prize will be awarded in person at the applicable Town or City Hall.

Winner agrees to:

  • Verification of identity

  • Participation in prize presentation photos

  • Public acknowledgment as winner

Failure to comply may result in forfeiture.

G. No Guarantee of Winning

Purchase of entry does not guarantee success.

The Treasure Hunt Game is a skill-based puzzle challenge requiring interpretation and deduction.

H. Intellectual Property

All clues, game materials, logos, branding, written materials, and design elements are the intellectual property of The Treasure Hunt Game.

Participants may not reproduce, redistribute, publish, or commercially exploit any portion of the game materials.

I. Limitation of Liability

The Treasure Hunt Game and its organizers shall not be liable for:

  • Travel-related incidents

  • Accidents

  • GPS inaccuracies

  • Mapping errors

  • Delayed email delivery

  • Technical disruptions

  • Internet outages

  • Force majeure events

Participation is voluntary and at participant’s own risk.

J. Disqualification

The following actions result in immediate disqualification:

  • Rule violations

  • Harassment of property owners

  • Tampering with game integrity

  • Attempting to interfere with other participants

  • Fraudulent submissions

K. Modification or Termination

The Treasure Hunt Game reserves the right to:

  • Modify rules

  • Clarify clues

  • Disqualify participants

  • Suspend or cancel an edition if necessary

In the event of cancellation prior to prize claim, refund policies may be determined at organizer discretion.

L. Tax Responsibility

Winner is solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes related to prize receipt.

M. Acceptance of Terms

By paying the $9.99 entry fee and participating in the game, participants acknowledge that they have:
